Idli Cutlet - A Fusion Delight for Your Palate

- Leftover Idlies – 4
- Onion – 1 chopped finely
- Garlic – 5 minced finely
- Shredded Cabbage – 1 cup
- Grated Carrots – 1 cup
- Besan – ½ cup
- Salt – 1 tsp. or as needed
- Chilli Powder – 1 tsp. or as needed
- Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp.
- Cunin powder – ½ tsp.
- Garam Masala – ½ tsp.
- Coriander Leaves – a handful chopped finely
- Oil – 2 tsps.
Instructions
- Begin by crumbling the leftover idlis into fine particles and set them aside.
- In a pan, heat some oil and add chopped onions and garlic. Fry them well until they become aromatic and translucent.
- Now, add all the finely chopped vegetables. Also, add salt, chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, and garam masala to the pan. Mix everything thoroughly and cook on low flame until the vegetables become tender and well-cooked.
- Once the vegetables are cooked, it's time to incorporate the crumbled idlis into the mixture. Also, add besan flour (gram flour) and finely chopped coriander leaves to enhance the flavor. Sprinkle a little more salt as needed and give it a good mix. Turn off the stove.
