Bajji Milagai Porial
We generally different porial as an accompaniment for rice. Here I have used long bajji milagai to make porial. This is a different porial and it tastes good. Try this porial at your home and let me know.
Ingredients
- Bajji Milagai – ¼ Kg. chopped finely
- Onion – 1 chopped finely
- Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp.
- Chilli Powder – 1 tsp.
- Salt – as needed or ½ tsp.
- Grated Coconut – ¼ cup
For Seasoning:
- Oil – 1 tsp.
- Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp.
- Ured Dhal – 1 tsp.
- Red chillies – 1 broken into two
- Curry Leaves – a spring
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.
- When it splutters, add ured dhal, red chillies and curry leaves and mix for half a minute.
- Add chopped onion and fry in low flame till onions turns transparent.
- Now add chopped bajji milagai, turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt and mix well.
- Close the lid and cook well.
- At last add grated coconut and mix well.
- Switch off the stove.
- Bajji Milagai porial is ready to serve.
