Spring Onion pakoda is prepared by mixing gram flour and rice flour along with spring onions and some spices. Spring onion pakoda is a perfect rainy day snack. This pakoda is crunchy outside and soft inside and tastes awesome.
To make perfect spring onion pakoda, mix very little water. Do not make the batter watery. Otherwise the pakodas will not be good. You can serve this pakoda with coconut chutney or tomato chutney.

Ingredients
- Spring Onions – 10 finely chopped
- Gram Flour – 1 cup
- Rice Flour – ¼ cup
- Red Chilli Powder – ½ tsp.
- Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp.
- Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp.
- Cumin Powder – ½ tsp.
- Salt – 1 tsp. or as needed
Instructions
- In a vessel, take gram flour, rice flour, salt, chilli powder. Turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and cumin powder and mix well.
- Add litlle water and mix well. It should be thick dough.
- In a pan heat oil.
- Take small balls of the dough and fy them in hot oil turning in between till golden in colour. Do not fry the pakoda too much. Otherwise it will burst.
- Remove from fire and serve hot with tomato chutney or coconut chutney.
