As lockdown has started in India, we have problems of getting the required groceries for our house. Some of us are worried what food to prepare for these 21 days. Most of us work for full time and now we have lots of time to spend at home. As we have more time to spend cooking interest has increased for most of us. I also got more requests for making simple recipes during the lockdown period. So I thought of sharing some recipes.
It is difficult for us to get vegetables and groceries in these testing times. We can make simple and easy food items at home with the basic ingredients we have. We can also take help of our kids and make some of the dishes so that they are engaged.
You can also make Paruppu podi, Coconut Podi, Curry Leaves Powder and Pulikaichal or Puliyodharai mix at home and keep and use them whenever needed. You can also make idly podi and use whenever needed.
Here are some simple recipes you can make.
You can also prepare payasam or kheer and snacks using simple ingredients available at home.
In Sambar and some of the recipes if you have less onions you can use less or omit onions. Wherever needed you can use ingredients according to that you have at home. Use your vegetables and groceries wisely. Enjoy this lockdown period with happy cooking. Stay at home. Stay Safe.
