Today on women’s day I want to post an important recipe for postpartum days. A postpartum period or postnatal period is the period beginning immediately after the birth of a child and extending for about six weeks. This recipe is a simple and very good one for women who just delivered a child. This helps in lactation. This was given tome by my husband’s grandmother after my delivery.
Ingredients: |

Cooked Rice | – 1 cup |
Garlic pods | – 4 to 5 |
Ghee | – 1 tbsp. |
Salt | – as needed |
Method:
- Peel and cut garlic into fine pieces.
- In a pan, heat the ghee and fry the garlic pieces till it becomes golden brown in colour.
- Now add the cooked rice, salt and mix well.
- This was given to me daily during postpartum days.
- It tastes awesome.
