Kozhukkattai is a famous festival recipe. This is liked by Lord Ganesha very much and we prepare this for Ganesh Chaturthi. For preparing kozhukkattai we have to prepare the base. I am giving the recipe of how to make the base here.
|Rice flour||– 1 cup|
|Water||– 1 cup|
|Salt||– a pinch|
|Oil||– 1 tsp.|
- In a heavy bottomed pan boil the water along with salt and oil.
- Remove it from the fire and add the rice flour and stir well to get a smooth dough without forming lumps.
- Cover for 10 minutes and allow it to cool.
- We can use this to make Choppu or outer cover for th filling inside.
