This is a special potato fry made by my mother. It is a simple recipe. She used to cut the potatoes into tiny pieces and fries them in oil with spices. We used to love it. Now my son also likes it and he has it with curd rice.
|Potatoes||– ½ Kg. (cut into small pieces)|
|Chilli powder||– 1 ½ tsp.|
|Turmeric powder||– ¼ tsp.|
|Salt||– as needed|
|Mustard||– 1 tsp.|
|Oil||– 3 tbsp.|
- In a pan put oil and splutter mustard seeds.
- Add all the other ingredients and mix well.
- Keep in a low flame and stir occasionally till it becomes golden brown and crisp.
- Do not over burn it.
- Now the tasty potato fry is ready to serve.
